Ok, so this is Dell's new concept -- a 14" screen in a 13" chassis, or so they say. It's hard to see how this is achieved on the photos, though. From what I've seen the 6430s and the 6330 are fairly similar. Does it make any real difference for the end user ?

What would be the other differences between both models ? Basically if it is possible to fit a 14" screen in a smaller laptop, why would anybody purchase the 6330 ? It is marginally lighter, so if every gram counts it could make sense.

Also, the 6330 seems to be able to accomodate a 3G modem -- but not the 6430s. Why is it so ?

    Thanks for the feedback

If you've used the E6320 or E6330, you'll see that the LCD bezel is huge and should be able to accommodate a larger screen. In fact, the E6320 is almost the same size as my E6410, which is why I replaced my E6320 with an E6220.

Other than the screen (and price), there's not much that's different. Battery life might be a bit better with the E6330 if the LCD backlight draws less power.

Lack of a WWAN option could be related to the LCD assembly, such as not having enough space for its antennas.
