    Hi Everyone,

I am about to buy either one of e6430 or e6430s and I haven't been able to find any good side by side comparisons. I am buying from the outlet and the only difference between the two is a 128gb SSD, and a 900p panel in the standard 6430. Price difference is negligible.

I wanted to know how much better is the 6430s in terms of weight/handling/ergonomics over the standard model? And if it is actually worth going for over the 900p panel. SSD I can pass.

    Thanks

    p.s. I don't need 3G, only looking for a 14" laptop

If you need discrete graphics, the E6430s will be ruled out as it's just an E6330 with a 14" display. If you need the smaller size for travel, the chassis is slightly smaller.

However, I would go with the higher resolution screen, as 1366x768 is unacceptable for anything larger than 12.5", and the SSD is definately worth it.

Dont need the graphics card either. But saw an e6430 today and man the bezel is downright ugly. Reminds me of a Compaq 486 laptop I had back in 1993.
