Um, did you look in the section, to the left that says "Recent Laptop Reviews"? It's been there for a while now. :p

This is the second article saying the e6400 is over 5.5 pounds. That's alot of weight for only 14". I suppose all those features add up.

Crappy review. *** is this line, " We're still convinced that trackpoints are a legacy product and about as useful to most people as a serial port, but someone must still be using them if Dell made sure to include it in the redesigned Latitude. "???

The trackpoint is one of the biggest selling features of the Latitude line versus its lower-end competition. Laptops without trackpoints are glorified consumer toys.

That should be "crappy reviewER". OBVIOUSLY, he's not a business user, just a consumer reviewer. The trackstick is a MUST have, unless you've got a Macbook Pro.

Is dell lying about the weight or is cnet? If 5.5 pounds is correct, the e6400 is very heavy for its size instead of very light :/....

We should know for sure within a week. My E6400 has just shot down the production line and gone into a box. The first task when it arrives will be to insert the (6 cell) battery and put it on the scales.
