Latitude E6400 battery

    Hello everyone

    I have a spare battery that says it's compatible only with DELL TYPE 6T473 or U1223. I was planning on buying a Latitude 6400 and wasn't sure if this spare battery would work for my new Latitude. If anyone has a Latitude, could you please take a look at your battery and tell me if it's either 6T473 or U1223. If it is, I won't have to invest in an extra battery right now!

    I doubt it's compatible. What laptop did you buy the battery for, the D series?

    The batteries for the Latitude E series are a completely new design. There is no battery from existing Dell notebooks that will fit, period.
