Does anyone know if the E5550 FHD screens are still IPS (as the early reviews indicate) or if Dell has downgraded to TN?

    Dell pre-sales support doesn't know (!).

    Thanks.

Dell's specs state IPS aganst the 15.6” FHD (1920 x 1080) Anti Glare (16:9) panel. Whether it is genuine IPS (an LG-Philips technology) or another manufacturer's equivalent high viewing angle solution is another matter. There's not much difference and all are considerably bettter than basic TN.
