Got a new E5500 from Dell and it has the Dell Bluetooth 170 installed. The bluetooth light is lit on the keyboard, and the BIOS verifies that BT is installed and enabled.

Nowhere in Vista is there anything to do with Bluetooth (that I can find). Nothing in control panel (the usual bluetooth icon is not there), and nothing in device manager (no Bluetooth Radios branch).

I downloaded the BT 170 drivers from Dell's support and tried to install them but during the install, got some cryptic message I hadn't seen before, and the install aborted.

Any ideas why BT is nowhere to be found?
