You use the biggest internal battery plus the battery slice which goes on the bottom. You might also need to have a P series or lower power CPU and an SSD.

People with the E6400 get up to 9 hours using the normal 9 cell battery so 19 hours if using the slice in addition should not be impossible.

cool, but i think that would happen with the E6400 only.
i mean it can't happen with the E4300 because it have the 6-cell as a maximum available battery, right ? :)

beside please guys, what do u think about the maximum battery life for E4300 machine with the 6-cell primary battery and the 6-cell battery slice ??

I'd say a typical E4300 probably doesn't draw much less power than an E6400 optimized for long battery life. Assuming you can get a bit more than an hour per cell on the E4300 (a lower power E6400 typically manages a bit less than an hour per cell), I'd say you'd be looking at 12 to 14 hours with both batteries?

They claimed 19-hours for the E6400 with the 9-cell battery (85 Wh) and the battery slice (84 Wh), which is achievable under very light usage.

The E4300 uses different batteries as I showed in the other thread. The highest capacity battery for it is 60 Wh (6-cell one) and the battery slice is 48 Wh, so I would say 10-12 hours under very light usage at best.
