    Hi Guys.

Recently I just bought(buy) the Intel Pentium M 745(1.8Ghz) chipset & Nvidia GeForce Fx Go5650 (128mb). My technician did the work to install the new items, but when I get the laptop back I checked it and the GeForce doesnt work properly, FPS from 0-1, my old 32mb video card used to work on low at 25-30FPS at my LFS simulator game racing.

Yesterday my technician download another GeForce 5650 driver and seems works better 50-60FPS at the same game. BUT now the problem is that the Processor Fan start running after 1min of playing and the laptop get freeze, 1-2FPS

    Any ideas or recommedations?

My previous are at my signature

Maybe they messed up on the installations of the new parts? This sounds like it could also be driver problem also. What parts were changed? Try a fresh install of xp/Vista/7 or what ever os you have.

Well, after many intents that we tried to work nvidia GeForce FX Go5650 (128mb), My Lap couldn't support with that video card and I get back to my old one the nVidia GeForce4 4200 (32mb).

    I think I'll try with the nVidia GeForce4 4200 (64mb).

The new processor is working right now, with no problems.

There are two things you can do to try and solve your problem with your video card.
    1. update your bios, this can possibly fix your problem.
    if that doesnt work,
2.modify your video card, What you may have to do is modify your video card so it can resist more heat. Im guessing that video card is overheating on you which by the way is very likely, and happend to mine when I installed mine the first time. that link will help you out a lot if you go ahead and try it.

    Hope this helps.
