Does anyone happen to know the thickness of the thermal pads on the D630? I've looked everywhere, and cannot find anything.

    Thanks!

I used 1.5mm material to replace the thermal (chipset) pad on my D830.

Initially tried 1mm but it wasn't thick enough. Plenty of instability as the chipset overheated due to such.

Sounds about right. I have some 1mm pads that are too thin. Didn't know if going 2mm would be too big. Now I know :)
