Has anybody tried to put a Latitude d620 ATG lcd display cover on regular D620? This seems like a simple switch but I would like to hear your opinions.

Ok, i tried it. It didn't work. The LCD panel bracket is shaped differently on the ATG. I tried transplanting the hinges from the regular d620 cover to the ATG cover and the display still didn't fit. I ordered ATG brackets off ebay so hopefully that will allow me to use the panel. I may also need a different hinge cover since the hinges are bigger on the ATG. I am actually impressed by how much beefier the ATG cover and hinges are than the stock d620 parts. This is the link for the brackets i ordered http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330345061882&ssPageName=ADME:X:BOCOR:US:1123. Am I really the only one to try this yet???
