    Hi all,

I have searched long and wide for assistance on this problem, I really hope you guys would be able to give me some guidance.

I had my laptop for quite some time now but only today wanted to interface with my phone - Nokia E90 Communicator. Problem is, I could not detect any bluetooth devices using the laptop.

I switched the bluetooth on and the little blue light is flashing, but no devices in my area detected. My phone detects many devices, but still doesn't see my PC in the office.

Next, I uninstalled the drivers of the BT module and re-installed Windows XP drivers. In device manager my radio is shown as Dell Wireless 350 Bluetooth module and a Microsoft Bluetooth enumerator. Both are Microsoft drivers! Both show that the device is working properly.

    My questions:
    1. Is it possible that some security issue could be causing this?
    2. Seems like the radio is working, but there is now way to know as no devices can see the PC, and it can also not see any devices, thus a two way problem. WHAT TO DO? Frustrated!

I hope this gives you guys enough background to help me out.

    Thanks!
    Much appreciated!
