    Hi everyone,
i want to downgrade my note from XP to a 2k, but i don't have the drivers for that... only XP drivers... anyone has them or know where i can find it?

    I found these

Try the XP drivers. I'd bet most of them will work.

Just like ZaZ said. Try the XP driver. I just wonder why you want to downgrade from XP to 2000? It is uncommon for me to hear you are going to do that.

I'm not surprised, it's less bulky and very simple and easy to use. What I don't understand is why one of my friends runs vista with a win 2k theme.

Ugh, I'd use 2K to this day except for having to install USB drivers for every new thing. Do they even ship drivers anymore with USB products?

    hi there,

i have the same problem. i will let you know if i find drivers that work.
for those wizzards out there that do not understand why somebody would want to downgrade, here it is:
i for instance work for a packaging machine manufacturer. most of the software to program our machinery does not run on windows xp, never mind vista.
therefore we create another partition on the drive with either w2k or win98.
dell is really bad on support regarding this stuff.
i have an older compaq evo n610c. all of the drivers for vista, winxp, w2k and win98 are downloadable on their website.
even installing linux on the compaq is a breeze.
this is why i stick with my compaq but i have to set up a dell for one of my coworkers and it sucks.
