Latitude D420 and Nikon D80 compatibility

Hi!

I recently purchased a Latitude D420 and when I use any of the three USB ports with my Nikon D80, no image can be seen of any of the pictures that I see clearly on my Nikon.

I've used several different software programs to try and view them so I don't think that's it.

Also, I'm not being prompted by the laptop when I plug the device into the USB port.

Is it possible that none of the ports are fast enough to read the camera? Anyone else have this problem and/or have ideas?

That is really strange. Can you test the USB ports with another device to make sure they work?

Great camera btw, my dad has one and it's awesome.

 

Is the USB connection mode correctly set on the D80 ? Did you upgrade the firmware to support Vista ? (http://digitalfreak.net/2007/01/30/nikon-d80-d40-firmware-updates/)
