Had to open new thread for my old Laptop.
About a year ago I had the problem and really didn't get anywhere near fixing the problem. So here I am again hoping maybe someone can help.

    Here is the issue,

My Laptop just suddenly died after checking how many mem stick I had.

I turn off my laptop, flipped it over, romoved the mem cover, and replaced the cover and flipped back over.. (I just removed the cover, didn't though anything) When I tried to power it up got nothing. (No lights)

The laptop won't power up even with the battery.
I do notice the battery light is lit when it needs charging.
I tried my spare battery, it charge it but doesn't turn on.

    Any help please..

That's what I thought too, but you should at least see some lights flash if it's a problem with the memory. Since there's absolutely no activity at all, I'm guessing he might have fried something with a static discharge.

Nonetheless, re-seating the memory is still a good idea XD

    Didn't touch anything inside.

I just tried removing the ram and replacing, nothing.

It does however charge the battery and there is a light showing battery charging.
