    Hi All,

I've seen this question repeated on the web a few times but see no satisfactory answer.

I'm connecting S-Video out on the C600 to the S-Video, Input 2, on the Aquos.

When booting the Dell I get a few seconds of an image on the Aquos and then a black screen.

I've tried changing the density of the display on the Dell to see if that would fix it but no it doesn't.

Also, using the Fn F8 combination does not affect the outcome when using the S-Video port.

I see references to altering the display properties advanced settings but I'm finding nothing I can adjust that affects this.

    Please help.

    Ken on Nantucket.

Maybe do a Google search? Maybe? The C600 is somewhat of a stone age computer in 2009, not too many people are going to have one or have had experience with one...

That being said, you need to install the ATI control panel if you haven't done so. Somehow the default XP drivers don't play nice with the C600 GPU. You can download the driver package from Dell's site, but the installation won't work (or it didn't work on mine); after you unzip the files, you have to find the folder and run the installation yourself.

If you have it installed already, there should be an "Advanced" button under the Settings tab in Display Properties. That should bring up the ATI CP and allow you to toggle a TV display on and off.
