I got a refurbished 4800 which was advertised as being in grade A condition, and the laptop lid has a vinyl skin (perfectly applied) to hide lid blemishes I guess (the palmrest etc are in excellent condition).

How durable are the laptop skins? Anything I should do to prolong the skin life?
