    hi all,

I was just working on my laptop and all of a sudden it went off. Now when i am trying to turn it on it is not starting. I tried only on power, only battery and both. But it is not working. And also when i am plugging my charger to charge my battery the LED for charging is not glowing.

    Urgent help needed.

    Thanks in advance

Sounds like it could be a bad connector.
What model do you have? Do you have a warranty? You should call and ask to have it taken care of under warranty.

No the processor does not explode.
The motherboard could be bad, and the connector connects to the mobo.
Seems like a power connector issue/mobo issue. If it's the mobo' it won't be cheap. A new connector could get soldered.

I've had multiple experiences with Dell Motherboard failures. This may be one. have you had any Blue Screen crashes lately? any hardware acting oddly before this? When you try turning on the computer, are there any sounds, or lights anywhere on the computer on? Put your ear to the device to check for any sounds such as a fan, hard drive spins, or clicks.

If the LED on the power supply is going out when you plug in the PSU, it means there's a short somewhere on the motherboard. From what I've read, this usually means you've got some fault in the power circuitry, and it's not really something you can fix without replacing the motherboard.
