The hour stem on my laptop clock is very sporadic when increasing to the next hour.
When it should be 2:00pm it remains at 1:00pm. Minutes change accordingly.
It only seems to be 1 hour behind. If I use the laptop in the morning after 7 hrs of off-status, it will be
    1 hour behind normal time.
Just a thought, is it trying to initiate daylight savings time ahead of schedule? Am I missing an update?
Any test I can perform for this situation?
Laptop is Dell latitude E5530 using Win8. Brand new had for 2 weeks.

    Any ideas?

Check the time setting in the bios and make sure it is set to the right time, also make sure that Windows is set to the right time zone. That's all I can think of right now.
