Vostro 1310 sucks air from beneath, the squarish mesh that shows "85" on the picture above. The hot air is blown out from the laptop at the left side

wouldnt it get blocked if you hold the laptop on your lap? has anyone had this problem? i was thinking of making an opening in the side of the case where it would draw it from the side, but ill have to wait until i get it; they should have designed it with both so that if the bottom intake gets blocked it can still draw from the side..meh

huh? your vostro gonna be an oven if the vents at the bottom and the sides are intake vents.

placing your laptop on your lap does block the intake vents at the bottom; even placing my vostro 1310 on my bed will cause the heat to rise. Well, normally i will just place a piece of magazine at the bottom of the laptop whenever i use it on my bed :)

what are the latest laptop2go drivers that can be overclocked?

EDIT: cant disable 2nd core in BIOS, something i could do with my Vostro 1500 and Thinkpad, does anyone know of a different BIOS i can use to do this? or maybe a software hack?

can i use intel bios? can someone link me to the ones that work with the 1310?
