Is the Dell E4300 that bad of a machine?

Dreamer, you believe that Sony is made from some kind of "flimsy plastic". I disagreed. That's all. :)

But I agree with mujtaba suggestion to keep this on topic: E4300.

I can't comment on Dell latitude's build quality because I have never owned one.

I can comment - the build quality of the E6400 I just returned was solid.

The materials weren't cheap feeling and I liked the overall design and quality of it. I just didn't care for the LED screen - that's why it went back.....

I just posted this video below in another thread trying to answer a question, and noticed that they were explaining what kind of "torture" tests they do with the Latitudes. As I said before virtually anyone (you can check) that sells "business" notebooks claims they do the same standard tests, and it's been so for years. It's something like an industry standard I guess, but then again it neither proves/guarantee for anything or make a notebook durable unless you want to believe that anything marketed as a "business" notebook could be abused as much as you want and would last.

Of course, I could be wrong and all you see on manufacturer's sites could be just the truth itself almost like in the Bible. :D

Now excuse me, but I have go and tell the people in the HP section that they can't throw their notebooks against a wall as some seem to believe since HP advertises their business notebooks to "meet military (MIL-STD 810F) standards"... OMG...no, it's more like a *SIGH*

Blessed Are the Believers. (whatever they believe in)
