Sorry if I have this in the wrong sub-forum. I'm interested in getting an M4800 from dell.ca (Canada). And was wondering if 30% off is typically the best deal they'll offer? Is there a way to get a greater discount?

    Thanks

If you chat with someone on the support line, you can get another 10 % off.

When I called they told me to use online chat instead :s Is it even possible to get a discount through online chat vs. the website?

Well, I always use the website (dell.se, sweden) to chat with them, and they always manage to give me 10% off when I explain that I am a poor student. :D

They wont go for more than 10 %, 15% off should be ideal, but even 10% off is sufficient.

Thanks. They only gave me 2% off after explaining that I was a student.... but I did request a quote. Perhaps I could call him and then some how ask for $200 off so it's under $2000.
