    Hm, which hard disks on their configurator are seagate and which are wd? I was looking at the 250GB model.

    I have no idea if Dell uses 250GB drives by Seagate, all I can say is that my WD drive is a 250GB one.

    I just received a stock 80 gb that was WD. Not sure about the rest of them. My suggestion is to buy an after market hard drive, which will save yourself some money.

    The only downside is having to reinstall everything but the upside is that you get ride of any unnecessary reinstalled dell software.

    My 250gb with FFS is Seagate...no clicking issues here btw
