    Hi all

I had a bit of a brainwave just a moment ago, and i would like to share the idea with the users of notebook review

basically, the vostro 1510 machine im using has a SD card reader built into it

(unfortunately my laptop has gone up to glasgow with my brother so i cant test it out just yet)

so, i was wondering if it would be possible to boot linux directly off of a class 6 sdhc card?

what i was wondering was, which linux distro people have found works best on the vostro 1510

    any input is appreciated

it is possible if it is a bootable card. it depends also if your bios supports external booting from removable devices. the most common distro is ubuntu or kubuntu. they should see every thing.
