Can I just buy a new power cord anywhere? I keep getting a weird charging error upon bootup and my computer is insanely slow because of it. Pretty sure its the cord as it is quite beat up. Any advice? Thanks!

The Dell 65W or 90W PSUs are abundant and cheap.

Anything for a Latitude (and probably the Vostros and Inspirons) will fit. Just check the power rating appropriate for your notebook (there should be a label on the bottom). The new PSUs with rounded sides (and are lighter) are compatible with the older notebooks but cost a bit more money.
