This is on a Vostro 1400, I want XP to control my wireless connection instead of the Intel software. How can I do this?

And once I do that, how can I stop XP from search wireless networks and just LOCK on one ?

Try uninstalling the Intel software and rebooting.

It should just connect to one. It won't connect unless you have connected to that network before.
