how to perform dell vostro 1310 system restore???

    Thanks...The only problem is that i have the cd with the drives in my laptop now and when i try to open the file im suppose to open in order it reads an error: "windows cannot complete the extraction. The destination file could not be created." I dont know where to go from here...

    It sounds like the files are trying to extract to the CD/DVD drive. Change the path to C:\dell or something like that. You could also copy them to your hard disk before you extract them.

    When you open the zipped file, it should ask where you would like the files extracted to, change the path from D:\dell\e**** to c:\dell\e**** or you could copy the driver files to your desktop and then open them and delete them all when you are finished installing them.

    its reading another error when i try to either copy it to a c:\ or to my desktop. Only two of the apllications will copy?

    Are you able to get online (either wired or wireless) with that machine? Windows may have found basic drivers for a few components. If so, try going to the dell site and download them directly onto the machine. Install from there.

    nah i cant connect to the internet with it. Im trying a few other methods and seeing if i can get it to work..
