    Hi everyone!

I have a Dell Precision M4800 that I would like to configure hardware RAID from the BIOS. I have 2 Seagate 500gb hard drives for the raid, (RAID 0 = 1TB), one in the regular hdd caddy and a second in the CD/DVD slot.. I went into the BIOS and selected RAID, but there is no menu to configure RAID. Does anyone know how to set this up? What I want is to run my OS off a 128gb mSATA and use the RAID drives for data.

    Thanks!

    zog

Press F12 at boot time to get to the boot selection menu... I believe there is an option in there to get to the RAID setup?
If your OS is a non-RAID drive, you can also install the Intel Rapid Storage application and configure RAID for secondary drives from within Windows.
(You will need the Intel Rapid Storage "F6 floppy" driver files available to do a Windows install with RAID turned on, whether or not Windows is being installed onto a RAID array.)
