How is Dell Warranty Support

    Considering adding Dell to the stash....

    I am constantly surprised by how WELL Lenovo is.
    Box arrived and sent back last Friday.
    Laptop was received and repaired on Tuesday. Shipped out same day en route to me - expected ETA for delivery is TODAY. Take labor into account....

    It just PALES compared to one time I had to send a Sony notebook out for repair. They have this flat box dropped shop ....u need to *assemble* the flat box and it's not really user intuitive & or cushioned as well...

    Dell australia small business support is beyond criticism. NBD onsite.

    Use Dell "Next Business Day" on-site all the time for Work. Last 5 support calls I have made have been resolved, with parts/engineer being despatched for the next day within 15 minutes of me dialing the support number. THe last call (for an XPS M1330 hard drive replacement) was done within 10 minutes!

    I am UK based.

    UK Small Business NBD Onsite is top notch. Had two visits and was without my machine for about 40 mins total. Saves waiting a week ;)

    Dell's limited warranty works the same way. I've had multiple warranty repairs (not me personally, I manage 60 latitudes) and they've always repaired and sent back out the same day they get it, including Saturday.
