I can't tell this from the picture. My concern is that I be able to move the screen of my e6400 to near fully opened when it's docked on an eport or eport plus.

Can anyone using one of these with an e6400 let me know how far it can open?

If you're referring to the PR02X, you can open to approximately 120 degrees, give or take. Keep in mind that the docking station does elevate the back of the laptop approximately 1-1.5 cm off of the flat surface you place it on.

Are you trying to do something extra-special with the laptop? I have the D830 and the PR01X, and it can be a bit quirky at times, especially with Windows Vista, and 'recognizing' my external LCD (Dell 2408WFP). The new solution might be better, and obviously, supports better screens through displayport.

Actually I did a little research on the regular eport (pr03x) and it will do the multi-monitor out I want to be able to do.

I'm probably going to mount this on an ergotron laptop arm, so I want the ability to open the display up as much as possible to take advantage of the angles I can work at with the arm.
