I'm considering getting this laptop because of it's whopping specs, and amazing warranty.

Question is, how does it game? Can it play games like Skyrim? Or Crysis? How does it perform with a GPU overclock?

    Thanks.

I can play Skyrim on high at 1680x1050 resolution very fluently with the m5950 at 850/1000 overclocked. Temps seem to peak around 60C on full load.

    8 gb ram
    7200 rpm hd

    My m4600 games fairly decent.

Diablo 3 at all high/AA/Vsync iirc. 1080P res

I haven't installed Skyrim, I will probably do that today but I suspect it will be at nublar's level or so. Maybe higher with no AA.

    My system:
    i7 2720QM
    16GB DDR3 1600 mhz
    500GB 7200 RPM
    M5950 870 core/1100 memory OC

Skyrim works smooth once u tweak it a bit and the game will still look great.
Diablo3 works great, just tone down the shadow setting a bit for smoother play in the late game
Starcraft works great in 1v1. Will see slow down when play 2v2+ where a lot of units could be on screen (mostly CPU limited)
