    Hey all,

How can I tell if my m6700 has an IPS display? PremierColor says it's an LGD0310 screen with EDID revision 1.4

    Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Google suggests LGD0310 is indeed an IPS panel, so you should be fine.

Do you have the AMD or NVIDIA graphics card? If you have NVIDIA, then in the BIOS there will not be an option to enable Optimus if you have the IPS display. (Optimus has its own section in the left-hand menu that will not be there if you have the IPS display.)
