    Hi:

I have a D600 that's working beautifully. I'd like to do some basic midi editing and sequencing with it, but I'm not sure if the Sigma Tel card and driver are able to handle it.

No sweat if it can't...I just thought I'd like to have a portable backup music machine if my desktop music machine goes down.

If not, is there some kind of modification I can make to the D600 to make it happen -- besides upgrading the RAM, which I am planning to do anyhow.

In case you want to know, I'd like to run a SONAR product on it.

    Thanks,

    Bruce

    Hi dad...lol

IMO there's no integrated soundcard good enough to do any serious audio stuff. Just get an M-Audio usb card or one from Echo audio...simple, cheap, good asio drivers with low latency. All you need really.

Thanks. I ended up getting an interface made by Lexicon. With any luck, this should do it. Actually, my D600 is handling Ableton Live remarkably well. Thanks for the reply!
