i hear it takes a while for the coupons to show up though, and that the prices seemed higher when the coupons were out, heh.

I posted this earlier in an edit:
    According to http://www.notebookcheck.net/Mobile-...ist.844.0.html
The 160M on the E6400 should suffice. You will get a more informed answer in the gaming subforum here.

They do have coupons on outlet.
Getting a deal requires patience though.

Is there any way you can save up the extra $$$ for the M4400 ? Perhaps disconnect your tv cable for a a few months ? :)
The M4400 is a nice upgrade. Also observe that the outlet precisions come with a 3 year onsite warranty, as opposed to a 3 year mail in warranty for the lattitudes.

With the CC warranty, this laptop should last you for 4 years.
And you can upgrade the CPU in the M4400 to a quad core when they become cheaper :)

    Sure, no problem.

Can you wait till summer to get a job and make some $$$ ? :D

Otherwise, ask in the gamng subfrum to see if the E6400 would suffice. Its also a very nice machine :)

No idea on where to sign up for the outlet coupons. Search in the deals subforum.
