    where do u guys go to get your graphic driver updates i went to dell downloaded driver and when installed the display was all weird didnt install right did i do something wrong anybody have an idea how to install the drivers right
    any step by step guides on this . any HELP:(

    get the drivers according to your OS

    what's your O.S.?
    you can start from scratch again :)

    oh.... that's a diff story
    double check if they have drivers for xp
    or check the hardware's manufacturer's site [intel...?]

    try to make sure you download the xp specific drivers then. As far as installing the drivers go, its pretty simple: just download the file, double click, and then follow the prompts on the screen.

    my comp graphic is (nvidia geforce 8400m gs)
    dell vostro 1400
    still has problem installing i restart and get like an old fashion xp screen so i have to roll back driver.

    At boot enter safe mode by pressing F8 and selecting from the menu normal safe mode or whatever.
    use your manufacturers cd disk to reinstall the original driver in device manager.
    If you want the actual NEW driver for your card go to the manufacturers website or do a google search.
