    hi i have a dell vostro 1400 and like today when i turned it on theres no sound coming from the speakers and i already put it to the max volume and when i put my ears all the way up to the speakers i here very very little sound from my music can any1 help me please please T_T

    Have you tried going into the Control Panel, selecting Sound, and then adjusting the properties?

    The speakers are not very loud, but they are capable of minimally passable sound--if you play around with the settings.

    You might also check to see if your Sigmatel driver is current.
