Is there a piece of software that shows the rpm of the hard drives in my system? Background: My Covet came with two different hard drives, a Seagate ST9160411ASG, and a Fujitsu MHZ2160B, in RAID-0 config. I am not sure if the Fujitsu is actually a 7200rpm drive. Is there a way to find out, without taking the drive out and looking at the label?

Well, I don't remember any software that mentions the HDD Spindle Speed.
See the full model no. of the drive in either Device Manager or PC Wizard 2008, and look up the datasheet on Fujitsu's site.

    If it is the MHZ2160BH - 5400RPM, MHZ2160BJ - 7200RPM.

I think the HDDs in Intel RAID have to be identical, so it might be the 7200RPM, probably.

Ahh, that explains it: The last letter of the designation was cut off in the BIOS screen. Thanks!

Yep, if you have the right model number, that is. Found it now, though, thanks!
