    Hi there.
Just out of curiosity, does your P4200 include the VBIOS chip on the card itself?
    Thanks

Initially, the video card arrived without a chip vBIOS and I soldered a new one to the required place, now the video card detects this chip, it remains to find a working BIOS..

On video cards with Pascal architecture, the LVDS connector is not physically soldered. On video cards of the previous generation Maxwell, this connector is mainly soldered.
Yes, my M6800 with EDP connection interface.

what an absurdity, this video card is for a stationary computer and not for a mobile workstation, it can only be connected through a eGPU adapter and it is bandwidth is not enough to fully load RTX and all mobility is lost. The best option for component replacement without dancing with a tambourine would be Tesla M6, it is slightly more powerful and colder than the M5000M and the price of the Tesla is very attractive!
If we are talking about this card, then most likely it will not be possible to fasten it for the M6800..

RTX 3000/4000/5000 MXM cards from HP are already confirmed working in Precision M6700 and will likely work in M6800 as well. Despite the odd shape, they can fit in the system, and the BIOS does not have any issues with them. (A physical mod to the heatsink is required, though, because the GPU core and the screw holes are in different positions...)

It is strange that my Quadro P4200 fits without any special modifications but does not want to run under Windows control, what kind of vBIOS did I not try to flash it?!

Yes, not sure why Precision M6700+M6800 hate the Pascal cards vBIOS (it only works with early engineering sample vBIOS versions it seems)... but Turing is fine.

All the time I thought that I had my laptop with an eDP interface, when I started solving problems with updating BIOS from A19 to A26 of the laptop itself, when dismantling the motherboard, I found that my laptop with an LVDS interface and from this all the problems with installing drivers on the Quadro P4200 and Tesla M6.
    There are two questions left:
1 - will Tesla M6 work on the LVDS interface if I flash it bios from GTX 980M or Quadro M5000M?
2 - if nothing can be done with the Tesla M6 and the LVDS interface, then what is the alternative for updating the video card that will definitely work on my laptop at a reasonable price-performance ratio?
At the moment, I have a GTX 970M and before that I had a FirePro M6100, but I do not have enough performance of my video card..
