    Hey guys,

I'm in the process of swapping motherboards on my 2007 Vostro 1500, and I ran into a little issue while putting everything back together.
My stock CPU heatsink is not compatible with the nVidia setup, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up, in case they decide to go down the same road as me.

    My final specs will be:

    Intel T8300 2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo
    G.Skill 2x2GB 200-pin DDR2 PC2-5300/667
    Intel 320 Series 160GB SATA 2(3Gb/s) SSD
    Intel Motherboard (WP044)
    nVidia 8600M GT GPU (UW390)
    Slimmer CPU Heatsink (FP509)

Intel Wireless N WiFi Card Upgrade (4965AGN MJP)

Everything that's bold is required for the GPU upgrade. I hope this helps anyone in need.:hi2:

This is a late reply to mention how frustrating it is to have everything back together, leaving Intel graphics in the dust, and then not having FP509. I had one express mailed from eBay because so upset. Thought I did all the research I could but this post...this post would have been nice to have come across.
