    Hey all,
Just got my Dell Precision M4800, and I ordered a fingerprint reader with it. I have enrolled my fingerprints into the TPM (so they can unlock my windows account), but I was wondering how to enable it so that the fingerprint reader will unlock the HD, when a password is set in the BIOS? This used to work on my old M6300, and I find it odd that Dell would remove this functionality from a significantly newer machine.

To anyone looking for the answer to this, it appears that the M6300 I had been using had the Embassy Trust Suite and fingerprints were enabled with Secure Boot and pre-boot authentication.

It looks like Dell no longer has a software license for this software on the M4800. This is unfortunate, as it was a great feature to have. Rather than entering a password on each boot, you could just swipe your finger
