    Hi,

I was just curious if everyone has problems with their fingerprint reader. I purchased one with the "internal fingerprint reader" and it seems that people have problems with it. I read that it can be a UPEK or Authenticate one.

The more expensive FIPS certified fingerprint reader also seems to have problems, which makes me weary about it.

Does the internal fingerprint reader allow you to "store" your passwords in IE? I know it does for other laptops.

    Thanks for your time.

I'm not super good with computers but could this be solved by third party drivers? It seems that the Dell Wave Embassy is just used to control the fingerprint reader but there could be other applications that work?
