So I've been trying to convince myself I should upgrade from the E5450 to the E5470 because I "need" USB-type C. Did a little research on this forum and I realized that not all E5470's have the Type C port? Is there anything I can look for to make sure I get the Type C? Any particular configurations that come with it?
For example, this computer caught my eye but I don't see a Type C?

Darn... that was my one and only reason to upgrade from the E5450.

If you are looking for a smaller AC adapter then the E5450 will run happily on the Dell 65W PSU (if your E5450 was shipped with 90W) and it will very likely run on the old Latitude XT 45W PSU (but it will get hot if you try to use the computer and charge the battery at the same time). I've even run my Precision 5510 on that 45W PSU to confirm that it works.

The original 45W PSU is very compact (which might explain why it gets hot under full load). There appears to be a new 45W PSU but it has the slim power plug which won't fit the Latitude range.

Which size have you changed from/ to? If you want something small then try one of these.
