Fan Speed in Dell Precision M4300

    The max I can set is 99. But then again, it goes back to 80 no matter what I set.

    And does setting it to 80 change the fan behavior?

    80-84 oscillates, the same, rpm 2400-2500. It is its default seting. I can't change that.

    I know that this is an old thread but I thought I'd chime in incase others find this thread in search of answers.

    In the hidden menu you should have an option called bios thermal control or something similar, by default it's enabled...you have to disable this before you can do anything else. But be careful, once you disable it you need to either run the fans wide open or get something like speedfan to control them.

    Hello !

    i have a m6500 and cant do the hidden bios =/ so can you help me, with the exact procedure?
    i think is on DELL logo test memory whe i need to put Fn+Shift and 15324.
    but no one happen, i have a bios rev. A06. =/
