    Dell Latitude D600
    Good Laptop

    Whenever im typing for more than 2 minutes or so, the text goes somewhere else for instance it goes in the middle of a paragraph. Its really hard to explain but could someone help me please.

    That sounds like a keyboard problem. Have you tried pluggin in a USB keyboard and see if that solves your issue?

    Try changing the palm check sensitivity in the touchpad properties. If the touchpad is too sensitive then it can read a near miss of the palm (while you are trying) as a movement of the cursor. I think the palm check temporarily disables the touchpad while you are typing.
