Everytime I switch off/on wireless/Bluetooth, Vista asks me for a driver for "Bluetooth Peripheral Device". Where is this driver and/or how can I make this screen go away? Ive tried inserting the drivers disc that came with it but nothing.

check the dell website for your specific model and download the driver for it and install it and it should go away technically.

Is it detecting a Bluetooth device -- your phone headset, or something -- and looking for that driver?

Nope. It just happens when I switch it on/off (more off) with this switch:

    Nothing Bluetooth nearby.

    Damn this is intresting....

Well I formatted the PC because it came with Home Basic and put Ultimate on it and reinstalled the drivers using the drivers from Dell's website and now the switch works :)

Ive got a [n]new[/b] slightly related problem for which calls for a new thread.

I had the same problem as was listed above. It was remedied by Dell manually by installing a "fake" device as such for each of the random nonexistent Bluetooth Peripheral Devices that keep popping up in Device Manager. Right click on each device, choose Update... and when prompted, choose to install from a list of devices (there may be a step or two missing here). When the device list appears choose a Headset or something similar and it should install correctly (even though you may not have a headset). You should no longer have a list of peripheral devices in device manager and even after a restart it should stay that way. Also when you now switch on bluetooth it shouldnt find any random devices.

    Hope this helps...
