    Hey guys..

    So I already have a Latitude E7470 (i5/QHD Touch) and I love it.. It's my primary computer but I would like to leave it on the desk and buy another portable laptop.

    I have two options;

    - E7370 - m7/8GB Ram/256GB SSD/QHD+ Touch /43whr

    - E7470 - i7/8GB Ram/512GB SSD/QHD Touch/55whr

    The 13" costs $150US more to get the 13".. All I'll be using it for is for word/email/browsing and movies.

    At this stage even thought the 14" seems better value I am leaning towards the 13" as it's got a lighter and thinner design

    Which would you guys opt for?

    Definitely the e7370. I mean you already have the E7470 as a desktop, why buy the same one. You might as well just carry the fist one instead of buying a second one. The m processor is powerfull enough for what you need and the edge to edge display is pretty nice.

    Also when you have both please post comparison photos, I couldnt find any good shots side by side. ;)

    If you're planning to leave it at your desk, why not just buy a desktop (or a desktop + a monitor) and carry the E7470? The desktop will be either much cheaper or more powerful, possibly both.

    I'd agree, though, if you want a second laptop, definitely get the more portable smaller one -- you can always carry the E7470 if you need the more powerful one.

    Thanks for the advice guys.. I ended up choosing to use the E7470 as the portable notebook and went ahead with a Precision 7510 as the desktop replacement to process editing far better.

    Going up-size is also a very reasonable choice. Expensive, in the case of the M7510, but that's a very powerful machine. :D
