I have W10 on the primary msata ssd and recently installed another msata ssd in the wwan slot. Sata operation option in BIOS is set to Rain ON. I have installed, uninstalled and installed again the latest IRST driver from 7240's support page but I still don't get an option for Raid at Bootup. After the Dell logo I should be seeing a Raid option screen for a couple of seconds when it says press Ctrl + I to enter setup. I don't get that. After the logo it goes straight to Windows.

Is there a setting in Bios that I am missing?

Look for the comment of Pr5owner somewhere else on this forum. Works like charm! I only had to use diskpart to get the set active for the installation of W10

Thanks for the reply. I ended up selling the 7240 and bought a 7450.

Hi, it's already too late, but recently I've got working RAID0 on E7240 on Win 8.1 following steps from thread http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/e7240-raid-0-change-screen.764734/
but no one mentions that all data is lost after that (no way to migrate from standalone to RAID0), lucky I did backup before switch.

The change via live boot manager in UEFI is necessary to enable RAID levels other than standard mirror.
The CTRL+I RAID menu should be available right after RAID Mode On is selected, if not then do BIOS upgrade on E7240 and restore all settings to defaults, that should help..

    works very good thanks you.

formatter une clée usb, télécharger le fichier et le mettre dans le dossier EFI/boot, démarrer sur cette clé usb. taper les commandes, rédémarer, et c'est ok
