    No, the latency of your SD card is much more than your RAM.

    @Scott, you also have a 2720QM, which bios are you running? Also the turboboost issue?

    Well, even though their notes don't indicate anything regarding the SATA Flash slot, has anyone tried it with A07?

    Would I gain anything by getting 8gb of memory instead of the 4 I now have? My gadget that comes with Win 7 shows I am currently using anywere between 35 % to 55%.
    Also I want to mention I love this Notebook..with one exception the Touch Pad isn't as smooth as my old C640 was no matter how I try to adjust the settings in it.

    Hi Scott, you must be kidding ;-)

    Does it really throttle? when you run cpuz or something, the system really throttles up to 3.2ghz?

    @Scott You would be the first user capable of running A07 with a 2720QM with TurboBoost. Not that I do not trust you, but I think that simply you did not noticed the issue. Try with cpuz as suggested by "lennartb" and you will discover that you are loosing some performance, especially in single core mode.

    Well, I doubt I am the only one...
    Yes, the throttling is fine and system is very snappy. Most of the time, I peak at 3.2GHz, but I also see 3.3GHz when needed.

    Hi Scott,

    Thanks for the image! The only difference I can notice is the microcode update revision. Mine says "1A" and yours 1B. The rest is the same besides the CPU current offcourse.

    Can you confirm a 1A also Rossim80?

    @lennartb
    Mine is even older: 15. This is what Linux report. It could be that the BIOS itself updates the microcode. I will try running the A07 and checking again.

    BTW, how do you open that window with the microcode version? I use Linux and have an ad-hoc tool to access the microcode version, but I can dualboot windows 7 and would like to compare my mine and Scott's situation.
