So I've had a lot of trouble with this network card. About a year in it started taking an extra 3-5 seconds to catch on to the internet after coming out of sleep. OK, not the worst biggest deal, so I didn't care.

Now, it slows my internet to a crawl quite often. My wife's computer is unaffected, so it's not the router/ISP/etc.

I have tried different scenarios, different browsers, etc, nowhere else to turn. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

It's still under warranty for another 3 years...but what do I say? "The internet is slow?".

Is there something I can reference regarding this card/etc, I really need this fixed ASAP now...Does this warrant a fix under the terms of the warranty, or not?

Well it's gotten so bad, to the point where I can't use my internet reliably.

Will call support tomorrow and see what happens.

Have you updated the driver? There was one that was released last month, so try it first.

Otherwise, it's possible that you have a problem with the card and/or antennas. If you are getting parts dispatched from Dell for NBD or POS service, I would replace both the WLAN card and the LCD back cover.

Interesting you mention the LCD cover. When plugged in, the back of my machine vibrates like crazy if I touch it....

What do you mean by vibrate? Is the fan not balanced, or is the LCD assembly loose?

I mean, if I touch the back of the LCD cover, I can feel vibrations in my fingers.

Not when unplugged, and this is seriously off...

That's very strange...the only moving parts inside the system would be the fan (and HDD if you have one)...
