E6500 webcam woes anyone help ?

    why does a machine that cost me 1430 pounds have such a poor cam
    i have the top 2.8 cpu and 4gv of ram nd 7200rpm, drive but my cam is so laggy it is unreal it freezes for like five seconds then runs fine for a few then does it again anyone else have this problem

    Uninstall the webcam driver. The webcam on my E6400 is excellent quality.

    you think uninstalling the driver and downloading the driver from the e6400 page would help ?

    just checked they are both the same driver i uninstalled it and it still shows as integrated webcam in device manager i will give it a whirl tommorow an maye the generic drivers work better !

    has anyone gotten the webcam working on the e6500 in windows 7 -- I am running build 7077, and all I am getting is a black screen. I am using the latest drivers from dell.
