I just received my WD Scorpio Black 7200rpm 320GB drive to upgrade the stock 80GB WD 5400rpm that came with the E6500 (P9500, 2x2GB ram. 15.4" LED).

Now I'm faced with a couple of options.

    A. Fresh OS (Vista x32) install vs the easy way out by imaging/cloning the 80GB Dell install onto the 320GB

    or

    B. Completely new install of Vista x64 from scratch.

Couple of questions that may help others in a similar situation.

    1. Those who've done a fresh OS install, was it worth the trouble ?
What if any improvements did you notice ?

    2. Did you go with Vista x32 or x64 ?

    3. What Dell drivers & components did you re-install onto the fresh OS ?

    4. What order did you install them in ?

    Thanks for sharing your experiences.
